Higher Education Programs

Students who have successfully completed associate degree programs at vocational schools or open education institutions are eligible to transfer to formal education bachelor's degree programs.

How to Apply:

Students in their final year or graduates of vocational schools, which admit students either through central placement or special aptitude exams, must take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) to transfer to bachelor's degree programs in their respective fields. Those who have or will obtain associate degrees from programs with a duration of four years or more, including open education programs, are not eligible to apply for the DGS. The university's vertical transfer quotas are outlined in the ÖSYM guide. Students planning to transfer vertically must provide transcripts, along with documents indicating the content of the courses they have taken during their associate degree studies, for submission to the University.
